We are pleased to announce that the International Conference on Orthopaedic Rehabilitation: Innovation through Partnership & Symposium on Orthopaedic Rehabilitation for Sichuan Earthquake Victims (In Celebration of 10th Anniversary of Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Program, Tai Po Hospital) ( 國際骨科康復會議 & 川港骨科康復論壇 ) will be held on September 27-28, 2008 at the Postgraduate Education Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin, Hong Kong SAR.
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation involves the care of patients with musculoskeletal problems, which are global in nature rather than begin limited to one or two locations. It is specialty that combines biomechanics and biology in a unique manner with an approach that focuses on improving functional outcome for individuals with musculoskeletal disability through operative and non-operative management.
This International Conference aims to provide a platform for exchange of ideas between various parties including allied health, rehabilitation engineering and clinicians. Putting innovative ideas into practice requires partnership and collaboration.
